  • Mariyam, you are likely correct in your assumption. However, my experience is that most people think the Bill of Rights gives them rights - it does not. The BoR conveys restrictions to the government regarding specific preexisting rights.

  • D&T: Bold, yet contradictory statements. How can you say "I respect your right to own them," make it conditional which in turn erodes the right to a privilege, then say "so what if you feel your rights are being violated" and not expect to have your entire position nullified?
